Meet the Founder
Meet Cheyne Reiter
Cheyne is a small-town Iowa native and a Hawkeye at heart. After nearly a decade in Indiana, including 12 years in media relations, communications, and broadcasting across minor league baseball, he came home to launch Get Iowa with a simple conviction: Iowa's news deserved a bigger stage.
He'd spent years writing Get Indiana's newsletters, blog coverage, and social content. Get Iowa brings that same playbook home: a blog with 18+ articles, a statewide newsletter, and a growing community of Iowans who share a love for the state.

Jarred Porter
Jarred Porter runs Tuscan Agency and built the systems behind Get Iowa. He played in the 2012 Little League World Series for New Castle, Indiana, the Great Lakes Region champion, and writes about youth and amateur baseball in the Midwest.
